10th week

Look at my precious baby standing with help from Daddy. She loves doing this...you cab even hear her "talk" at the end of the clip. She is growing so fast. Getting so big. I love how exited she gets when she stands up. Its so cute. Anna still hates tummy time. She gets so mad when you put her on her tummy. The only time she doesnt mind being on her tummy is when she is laying on her Mommy or her Daddy. Anna is also becoming more aware of her hands and their capabilities. She is starting to grab at things...and put them or try to put them in her mouth...I know...I know...going to have to keep a real good eye on her. We had an exciting...(some of it good, some of it bad) week. Lets just say Mommy wont be reaching for any more Ben and Jerry's when shopping with Anna...they tend to fly out of the freezer and hit people on the head. We went to the beach on Saturday...Anna spent 95% of the time sleeping...and the other 5% of the time eating..so I dont think she even realized she was outside the house. Then we went to the doggie park and all the doggies wanted to hide under Anna's stroller. On Sunday we went to church and again Anna did so good. She was awake the whole time and didnt get fussy once. Anna also helped Mommy work on improving her running this week...Mommy runs real slow but is trying to get faster...at least I can run 5 miles without feeling like Im gonna pass out...probably because it takes me an hour to run 5.4 miles...oh well..its a good pace for Anna...gives her just enough time to take a morning nap! 9th week

Anna had her 2 month appointment today. She wieghed 10 pounds 4 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long! She is getting so big...so fast. Somedays she seems so tiny still...then other days I pick her up and I cant believe at how much she has grown. she did really well at her checkup...all looked great! She even did good with her shots...yea she cried a little but as soon as we held her she stopped crying.
This week was a pretty relaxing week for us...we played a lot with our flash cards. Anna loves to look at the animals...(ok its probably just the different colors that interest her but...I think she likes the animals). We worked on our sign language...ok Mommy practiced her sign language while Anna tried to laugh at her.
Anna is trying so very hard to laugh...she has got the facial and mouth movements down...but cant get the sounds to come out. Its the cutest silent laugh!!!! However, she is "talking" more and more it seems. Its not all the time but usually in the morning and then in the evening she goes into a "talkative" mood. We love to talk back to her and listen as she tries to "talk" even more.We tried to get some more tummy time in...but as you can see from the picture below...Anna is not a fan of tummy time! She would much rather spend her time on her feet.





Yesterday Anna got to spend almost three hours with Daddy walking around the mall and walking to get our car as Mommy got her hair highlighted. All the salon ladies were amazed at how well Anna or I guess how well William was doing with Anna. I told them "I know...we are lucky...he is very good with her."
Today we went to church and I think Anna's fav part was when everyone was singing. She probably liked it because she couldnt her Mommy over everyone else :+).
All in all it was another amazing week. Cant wait to see what the next one will bring!
